Vincent Bahar is a Swedish-Iranian artist and composer materialising sound coming from experimental, classical and Iranian culture. With the Sufi frame drum daf, improvisational piano arrangements and electro-acoustic live productions she creates dreamlike compositions permeated by feelings of mysticism and deep introspection. Her music centers around succumbing to change and meditating on the eternal metamorphosis.

Holding a MSc in Economics from Lund University and Ludvig Maximilians Universität, Munich, Vincent decided to leave the academic world in pursuit of fulfilling her dream to become a composer in 2018. She is self taught as a producer and percussionist and trained as a classical pianist since childhood.

Her work gravitates towards a cross-pollination between music genres, compositions for film, dance, performative and installation art. She has a profound interest in the storytelling of music and works across disciplines with creating imaginative spaces held up by sound.
